I dislike earthquakes. earthquakes are natural vibrations of the ground caused by movement along gigantic fractures in Earth crust. Earthquakes have even destroyed entire cities. A single earthquake killed 100,000 people. Earthquakes are dangerous.
On the other hand I've seen many movies where we were protected from the dinosaurs when the earthquakes opened up and the dinosaurs fell into the lava. Without earthquakes, there would be no human race. So even though they sometimes destroy cities and kill people, we perhaps should be grateful.
