I believe slave's was treated wrong . By 1837 the price had soared to $1300, a huge amount at that time. A prime field worker between 8 and 25 years old cost about $500 in 1832. A slave named eve and her child, at price of $ 156, are listed between a flow for $160 and eight fancy chairs for $9.25. Slaves are wrong.
